Reis Magos Fort was constructed in 1551 by Portuguese to serve as a turret, originally it was established as a military outpost by the Adil Shah of Bijapur in 1493. Reis Magos Fort underwent transformations over the years. The Fort is a beautiful example of Goan Portuguese architecture and culture, it has been converted into a cultural center besides being used a tourist attraction

Fort Aguada : Duration 60 Minutes
Standing on the crumbling ramparts was constructed in 1612 to guard against the Dutch and the Marthas, witnessing the confluence of the Mandovi River and Arabian Sea, once the most formidable and impregnable of the Portuguese forts in India. On the fort stands a four-storey Portuguese lighthouse, erected in 1864 and the oldest of its kind in Asia. Picturesque and appealing, the fort is a great attraction to experiment with your photography skills and passion.
