Travel Plan

Arrival at the Chandigarh Airport / Railway station, meeting on arrival and proceed to Shimla en route visiting Pinjore Garden.

Pinjore Garden: Green with running water (many gardens did not have water running) and fountains. It is on many tiers, which adds to the interest as you explore each layer, peaceful inside the gardens, The location of the garden associates itself with Pandava, as it is believed they stayed here during their exile. It has been renamed as ‘Yadavindra Garden’ in the memory of Maharaja Yadavindra Singh former of the princely state of Patiala. After it was initially built by Fidai Khan, the garden was refurbished by him and restored to its former splendor. Unlike Mugal Garden of Srinagar, J&K the seven terraces of this garden descends as you go to end.
Continue your drive to Shimla, on arrival check-in at hotel in Shimla. Overnight stay at hotel.
Shimla: Shimla the queen of hills has been the first choice for many domestic tourists for many decades. Shimla is known for its lush green valleys and amicable air around the city. After breakfast Drive to Kufri . Kufri hills is chill place and snowy. it’s a nice place to spend more time there, wonderful location where you feel relaxed and stress-free. This area is top of the mountain, Shimla located on its lap. By reaching you will find deep blue sky, white snow mountains, oaks, greeneries and obviously fresh oxygen everything is so amazing. You can take an oak riding and can enjoy the beautiful nature (your own cost)

Visit Himalayan Nature Park spread in area of 90 acres was established in 1992 and open from 10 am to 5 pm. Photography is chargeable for Rs 50/-. Good place of learning and witnessing the bio-diversity for kids and even adults too. There are Deers, Monals, Pheasants, Snow Leopard, White peacock, Tibetan Wolves, Himalayan bear. There is lot of flora and fauna seen around. Some common types of bushes and shrubs which can be found in the reserve are blue pine, deodar, holly, oak and spruce.
Return to Shimla. Stroll famous Mall Road & Ridge, view Christ Church, Scandal Point. Back to hotel for overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.

After breakfast at hotel in Shimla proceed for Chitkul, Visit enroute Padam Palace at Rampur and Tranda Dhank in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
Padam Palace: Raja Padam Singh laid the foundation the palace on the left bank of River Satluj in the year 1919. The construction of Padam Palace took six years and it was completed in 1925. Chief engineer who supervised its construction was known as Bir Chand Shukla. Padam Palace is unique and beautiful to visit. Brilliant wooden curving and multicolored glass add uniqueness to the wonderful architectural marvel.
Tranda Dhank : The most beautiful location ever in Himachal.
Chitkul : The last inhabited village near the Indo-China border. A Serene place with breathtaking scenery. The place is so secluded and pristine, with simple ways of living and no traces of the urban chaos. One can walk along the river side to the end of the settlements and looking at the peaks wonder which way leads to the other country. On walking distance from the village, you can go to the Baspa River side to make your experience more enriching. The Freshness in the air of this valley is calm and peaceful...Try the local Rajma chawal here, tasty and different from the regular one in other part of India. There is a small fort and temple in the village, the fort is quite old but most of the temple is built in recent years, you will witness some exquisite wooden carvings and a bit of Tibetan touch in the architecture. Dinner & overnight stay at Chitkul

After breakfast at camp in Chitkul visit Mathi Temple, Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba and Chikul village. Proceed for Nako.
Mathi Temple: Mathi temple of Chhitkul is famous for its unique wooden architecture. The oldest temple in the temple complex is believed to be built around 500 years ago. The main deity is Devi Chhitkul Mata, also known as Shiromani Mata Devi. The place is quiet. The view of entire Temple premises with the background of surrounding Himalayas will definitely calm your mind.

After completing your visit to Chitkul go for a meal. Hindustan Ka Aakhri Dhaba, Chitkul may please you with perfectly cooked rajma. It is good to enjoy great tea. proceed to Nako, via Khab Sangam
Khab Sangam: Khab - A beautiful village on India-Tibet border, this is the point of confluence of Satluj and Baspa river. The road leading to this Sangam is full of great views. You can clearly see 2 colors in water, muddy water is of Satluj river whereas the green one is of Baspa river.

After breakfast at hotel explore the beauty of Nako Village and Lake. Drive to Pin Valley, visit Ancient Tabo Monastery & Dhankar Monastery
Nako Village & Nako Lake: A beautiful village in Kinnaur, with a beautiful lake which adds to one of the attractions in the village. Simple people, simple houses, gives a very subtle feel to this village.The economy of this village, like many Kinnauri villages, depends majorly on farming of Peas & of apples. A visit to the beautiful, ancient village of Nako is an invigorating experience that you will never forget. The small sacred lake adds to the village's picturesque charm. Within Nako, you can visit a number of historic temples from as early as the 11/12th century. Village itself along with the lake can be easily covered in an hours’ time. The prayer wheel at the top of the village gives a spectacular view of the entire village along with the lake & of the surrounding mountain ranges. The view of sunlight falling on the mountain ranges just after sunrise gives a completely different shade to the mountains, it's spectacular.
Tabo Monastery: As Rudyard Kippling said "Spiti is a world in a world. A serene, tranquil calming experience at this small town. The land of monks, a land of monasteries where you can find the inner peace of life. Tabo monastery houses paintings that are more than 1000 years old! At its peak, scholars from Tibet and India would meet at the monastery to exchange their knowledge about Buddhist here. Depicting various forms of Buddha, it was intriguing to note that lord Ganesh adorns the entrance of this monastery. They have also a built a new monastery which has many Buddhist quotes and sayings.
Dhankar Monastery: The place used to be the capital of the Spiti Valley. Dhankar monastery is unofficially the oldest monastery of the valley. Due to regular attempts of loot and attack by the Mongols, the monastery lost all the scripts. However, people can still find it's mention in some of the ancient transcripts. it’s pretty ancient and huge, perched on the of a mountain against a cliff. You can climb right to the top to get brilliant views of the entire landscape.
On arrival at Pin Valley, check-in at hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Morning Breakfast at hotel. Visit Langza Buddha Statue, Komic World’s Highest Village and Hikkim World’s heights post office
Langza Village & Buddha Statue: Langza village at a distance (recognizable by the Buddha Statue). This quaint little village is at almost a same elevation as the Kunzum Pass (give or take a 100 odd mtrs), Langza is famous due to huge Buddha Statue at 14300 ft height facing the mountains overlooking the valley. Langza is traveler's paradise depending on one’s interests ranging from clear night sky with milky way on no moon night, hunting sea fossil on your trek with locals and know its archeological significance, local cuisine, farming experience with villagers, a stroll around the village to experience and learn about local life and hardships.
Komic World’s highest village: The picturesque Spiti Valley embraces several treasures in its vicinity and Komik is one such place which is set beautifully amid the stunning mountains in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Komik Village is the highest village in Asia and is located at a height of around 4600 meters above sea level. The beauty of this place cannot be described in words, it can only be felt and experienced with the naked eyes. Surrounded by snowbound mountains and majestic valleys, Komik Village attracts countless tourists who simply want to get drenched in its breathtaking beauty and charming festivity.
Hikkim World’s Highest Post office: Hikkim is a small hamlet famous for the post office which is said to be the highest. Hikkim, located 2 km from Komic is an isolated yet beautiful region containing a cluster of small scale villages that has a tiny post office called as World’s highest Post office.It is amusing that the post office has been in existence for the longest time, however, it has come to the world's attention in the past decade.
Arrive Kaza by evening, enjoy your time roaming at Kaza with local fares and shops. Dinner at hotel. Overnight.

Morning breakfast at hotel, today visit the famous Key Monastery, Kibber Village, Chicham Bridge.
Key Monastery: Possibly you have seen this structure on Television at some point in life. The facade looks fantastic as it sits on a mountain top, the view from the top of the monastery is breathtaking as you look over the Spiti Valley and the mountains around. Key Monastery is iconic, serene, beautifully calm and relaxing, there are meditation chambers created really a long while ago, there a school near it, a lot of monks, functions, just a lot of things that would make you feel relaxed, calm and composed. You should definitely meditate here for a while, there are monks guide and talk about the history of the place that really fascinating (they speak multiple languages) do have the herbal tea that they offer.
Kibber Village: While in Spiti, Kibber is a must. The Kibber village provides breathtaking views of the hills and the village view is splendidly picturesque. With a few traditional styled homes amidst the mountains at a high altitude, this is something to be experienced. The monastery is a treat to eyes as so many people co-existed so amicably, a rarity in modern days. Every face you see is smiling - such is the beauty and humility of Spitian people.
Chicham Bridge: A staggering height of 13596 ft and connects the two villages named Chicham and Kibber experience to view the bridge. Chicham Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Asia, and quite an astounding spectacle at that. Look down this one and you will find yourself gaping below, at a 1000 ft deep gorge! The gorge below is known by the name of Samba Lamba Nallah
By evening you reach Kaza. Dinner and overnight stay at Kaza.

After breakfast in the morning drive to Chandertal visit Losar & Kunzum La Pass
Losar: Losar is the last village in Spiti valley, before one crosses the Kunzum pass over into Lahaul. Not only are the surroundings beautiful, but it is also a great base to visit Chandrataal. situated near the confluence of Losar and Peeno streams. Losar village in Spiti Valley is located adjacent to the Indo Chinese border at an altitude of 4,085 meters above sea level
Kunzum : This pass bifurcates Lahaul & Spiti valley,It is one of the highest motorable pass across Kunjum Range(4590 meters height).Godess kunzam (Godess Durga/ Parvati) resides in a temple on Kunzum top. A big mountain with Steps kind of Glacier is your landmark for this pass. It is amazingly beautiful, this pass is birth place of two rives Spiti and Chandra. This places is surrounded by beautiful mountains.
Reach Chandertal by afternoon, on arrival check-into Camp at Chandertal.
After some rest visit Chandertal Lake.
Chandertal : Far away from the hustle bustle life of the city’s. This place really justifies the feel of “In the middle of nowhere’. The Moon Lake - Chandrataal, a lake situated in high altitude, hidden between the Mountains of Himalayan Range in Himachal Pradesh, which is one such beautiful lakes in between those mountains. The lake gets its name Chandra Taal, which means “The Moon Lake” in Hindi. Mountain’s reflection in the lake makes the lake look more stunning. The best part of Spiti valley is its still quite unspoilt due to the remote nature of most of its attractions Chandrtal lake at 3340 meters above sea level is one of them

After breakfast in the Morning, drive to Manali en route visiting Rohtang, Atal Tunnel & Solang Valley.
Atal Tunnel It’s about an hour drive from Manali, marvelous Engineer Creation beyond Solang Valley, a new access to Rohtang La is provided by this tunnel cutting through high altitude rock mountains. Almost 9 km long world's longest tunnel at an altitude of 10,040 feet impressive feat of Indian engineering, serves strategic purposes basically for the armed forces. But for tourists it’s a thrill to pass through it, well lighted, supervised and safe with numerous emergencies exits,
Sissu Waterfall in Lahual implies an extremely wonderful view
Solang Valley: Offer magnificent views of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Solang valley a sort of adventure spot near Manali, where all the tourist go for enjoying different sports or adventure activities. Here one can do para - gliding, have rides on snow scooters, as well as indulge in zorbing also. You can have fun of horse riding, (All the activities are on direct payment basis)

Rohtang Pass: A great tourist spot on eastern Pir Panjal range of Himalayas around two hours away from Manali city. it is the nearest place where one can enjoy seeing Snow in the Month of June. it has awesome scenery and is bitter cold, never ending curvy roads and mesmerizing views are what makes this placing amazing
Rohtang Pass is opened from May to November because during the winter time snowfall is extreme

After breakfast at hotel, orientation tour of Manali visit the only temple dedicated to Ma Hidimba/Hadimba. The wood carvings on the walls of the temples are really nice. The woods around the temple give a serene feeling. You can just roam around and spend hours together there. Hadimba temple, further visit Tibetan Buddhist Himalayan Nyinmapa a Buddhist monastery located in Manali and one of the most famous monasteries situated in north India. Its religious significance is highly important for devotees. The most prominent feature of Himalaya Nyingmapa Buddhist Temple is the enormous statue or idol of Sakyamuni in a sitting or meditative posture.
At around 12 Noon drive to Chandigarh, on arrival transfer to the Airport/Railway station back to home
